Johnna Ho

Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, Johnna Ho immigrated to Los Angeles, California in the late 1970s where the non-traditional and rebellious fashion scene was the rage. This would become the DNA of Johnna’s overall forward- thinking style. Her zeal for individualized fashion developed at the curious and innocent age of eight, when her recently immigrated family did not have enough money to buy clothes for her dolls, Johnna hand sewed them herself. Fashion quickly became her platform for self-expression during those early days in America when her English was limited.

Her love for bridal dresses started when she worked as a seamstress at a bridal boutique while attending college in the early 90’s. After managing the product development and designing for major brands like Marie Osmond Doll Company and Disney, she left Los Angeles for New York in 2006 to work in high fashion. After overseeing the merchandising and buying for cutting-edge brands as Miss Sixty and Energie, Johnna realized her dream of having her own luxury bridal label that combines sexiness, glamour, old-Hollywood and modernism.

When JOHNNA HO debuted in 2008, she immediately began to receive phone calls from bridal fashion magazines eager to feature her creations. The prestigious national publication, BRIDES Magazine, featured JOHNNA HO in its September/October 2008 issue exposed readers to a designer that was, “…breaking ground in bridal fashion.”
